World Of (effin) Warcraft
Oh my god!!! WoW is EVERYWHERE....it has to be the biggest thing iv seen across people in years. Its the biggest conversation topic and its on everyone's msn screen name.
Im going to sound very bias with this as iv not yet played this game but im sorry...it looks crap!
Please, please, PLEASE somebody tell me why its so good! And dont give me ''cos everyone's playing it'' or ''cos its cool'' cos its the worst answer possible. Can any WoW fan give me a good answer? and don't ask me to play it. If you want me to do that then sell it to me somehow with a review.

Sorry mate, it's just one of those things you have to experience to understand!
So many people understand because it's so easy to experience. When you buy the game, you get a 10-day trial code to give to a friend. That friend gives it a go, loves it, buys it properly, and passes his code on.
And so, the circle of subscribers gets bigger... As does the amount in Blizzard's bank accounts!

I was a little apprehensive when I first saw it too, but a friend of mine (he is evil for getting me into WoW) persuaded me to try the beta (crap, that was a while back...) and I loved it, bought the game when it came out and have loved it ever since!
I think it's the open-endedness of it all, the fact that the world is so goddamn huge and there are stories behind EVERYTHING too! Even the smallest plot line for a single quest has been cleverly thought out and adds massive depth to the game.
Also, the game is a very different experience depending on the character and class you choose too...urgh, I'm gonna have to sit down...
